Heat and AC Solutions is a family-run HVAC company serving Southern Virginia. Led by Shad Dortch, the business is built on a strong commitment to quality service and honest work—tailored specifically for homeowners who want comfort they can count on.
The Challenge
Shad knew that to keep growing, the business needed to show up where people were looking online. Without a website, they were missing out on a big opportunity to connect with local homeowners searching for heating and cooling help.
He wanted a site that not only looked professional but also helped people understand what made their service stand out.
The Solution
We partnered with Shad and Heather to bring their vision to life. Using Webflow, we designed and developed a website that was clean, easy to navigate, and built with SEO in mind. Every part of the site—from the layout to the content—was crafted to help people quickly find the info they needed and feel confident reaching out.
We focused on two key things:
- User Experience (UX): Making the site simple, helpful, and mobile-friendly.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Helping the site rank well so more people could find them.
The Results
The site launched in May 2018, and the impact was immediate:
- 1,000+ daily visitors thanks to strong SEO and clear messaging
- A smooth, informative experience that helped turn visitors into customers
- A 5.0 Google rating from hundreds of happy clients
The website played a big role in helping Heat and AC Solutions grow their business and build trust in their community.
Where Are They Now
In early 2025, Shad and his team decided to explore a new direction with another agency. While we’re no longer managing the site, we’re proud to have helped lay the foundation for their online success and watch their business growth these past few years.
Final Thoughts
This project is a great example of how a well-built website can help a local business grow and thrive. We’re proud to have been part of Heat and AC Solutions’ journey and to have helped them connect with more people in their community.
